Super Friends

There may be a lot of people in our lives that we can call "friends". But only a few becomes our best. It has been a long time since i wanted to create a blog about these people who greatly impacted my life by being with me during my best and worst. By the way, i am still thankful to everyone who befriended me and made me a part of their lives too so dont be hurt if your name wont be mentioned here. Okay? You also played an important role in my life.. These people below are; shall we say, knows me inside and out and stood by me "all the way".

My Detch

I met him during my convergys days. He was an ex of my previous room mate. We started as casual friends just like everybody else. We became closer when we transferred to peoplesupport. We had exactly the same shift and break schedules. We talk a lot and share about our crazy and coomplicated lives. We eat and go out together. What became funny during that time was, we were tagged in the office as a couple. The rumor spread like an airborne virus that it didn't stop at our department. It reached the nearby accounts and even at the other building. Unbelievable! We didnt expect our friendship was that interesting. hahaha! So what we did was just ignored everyone. We know the truth anyway. We talk about boys, boys and lots of boys. hahaha! And oh, we talk about... men too. hahahha! From clothes to food, shopping, gym memberships and workout, videoke and bar hopping, we do it together. We also exchange referrals on "buddies".. haha! u figure it out! I love my detch so much because he was there whenever im sad, depressed and down. He's also there whenever im happy and when good luck is on my side. He is one friend i couldn't replace with anything else.

PS: in case you're wondering why we call each other "detch", lemme tell u its etymology. It came from a tawagan "dude". But we're not straight, so it should be "dudette". But since "dudette" is so gay and too long to say, we made a short cut -dette. Now, for us "dette" sounds dull so we added -ch after it and then it became "detch". hehehe!

It has been a long time since we have seen each other. Im in a new company now and he's somewhere else. I miss him. Hoy detch pakita na! haha!


Ateh Einnor

Same with my detch, i met ateh einnor in cvg. We became close when i opened up my ballistic love life to him. haha! I got surprised when he just listened to every whines i had. He didn't mind my crazy and non sense stories. And also, ive gotta mention that he never fails to fill my tummy everytime we meet. hahahaha! im always busog. We talk about everything over a buffet or tonz of variety of food. I attempted to treat him but he didnt let me. hahaha! Actually i became shy - but guess what, i got over it. hahaha! Don't worry teh, one day, ill treat u and u cant do anything but let me. I can always count on him. He is always there whenever i call him and wouldnt think twice.


THE BFF's

What can be more fun than hanging out with these 3 ladies: PAULina, DHONatela and Princess KD? NOTHING! It used to be "fab 4". Now they just changed it to BFF, just because it so like maarte and very posh! like us! hahaha! Whenever im with them i feel so welcomed and comfortable. We can just sit down at a coffee shop around 10 in the evening and leave there at about 3 in the morning. haha! well, we just talk, talk, talk, and talk. Chika here, libak there and kantyaw everywhere. We talk about anything and anyone under the sun, the moon, the stars and the rainbow! hahaha! They are the people i call for an ice cream emergency. There was one time when i freaked out at 2 in the morning bacause of that insanely ridiculous reason that i do regret today it happened. jeez! We all met me up and talked about it. I couldn't forget that moment - and that was not the only instance they did that. I love them so much. They are the type of friends who can make me laugh my problems out loud. They make me burst it all out and then make me feel that i am not alone. Like my detch and ate einnor, they saw what a cry-baby i am. They know how i get wasted and lose all the grip i could possibly have over things. These girls just - rock!


Nanay

Before i even met all of them (above), i already have my "nanay". I met him because of my first boyfriend. That was during my junior years at college. Every after school i always make "tambay" at his place. Our friendship grew as years passed by. He is my confidant. He knows everything about my "escapades" that time. And whenever i have a new love interest, he was the first person who'd know. We had a lot of good memories together - and with all our other friends. I could still remember those times when we were still students - we always go to Abuhan, ramos to eat an eat all u can buffet snacks for only 50 pesos. That was the only buffet that we can afford wherein we could fill our stomache to the highest level. It makes me smile reminiscing those times. :) Also, I really appreciate the way he welcomes me into his home here in cebu. His place was my second home. Thats also why i call him 'nanay'. Its like im his adopted son. hehehe! Oh by the way, he just graduated. Congratulations nay.. A soon to be lawyer. Good luck to your bar exams this september.

What would have i done during all those terrible days without you all, my friends?? I could not thank you enough. I am so thankful to have bumpt into your ways. My life wouldn't be this fabulous if it weren't because of YOU.
